Advantages of Google Buying Twitter?

WTF are the implications of Google buying Twitter?

* integration of Twitter in Google search
* Twitter search being run by Google
* Twitter comments integrated with Google Alerts
* learn more for TrustRank through interrelationship of users

Most obvious place that Google would implement Twitter could be within Gmail just like they did w/ chat.

Blogging and STDs

WTF was this discussion between
Arianna Huffington and Jon Stewart!?

Arianna Huffington: 50,000 blogs are started each day

Jon Stewart: You make it sound like a sexually transmitted disease

Arianna Huffington: No, it's alot more fun

I hope so Arianna. I really hope so. Stewart trying to understand blogging is classic stuff.

It's Been A Long Time

WTF? It's been a while since I've posted here. After running across my "online notebook", I remembered how valuable it was jotting down ideas and notes of anything interesting (or not depending on how I feel). I also remember how boring it was to read back to myself. So after falling off the wagon, I've decided to hop back on it. Just remember, anything I say here is more stream of conscience and should be taken as such. WTF am I doing writing this since no one will probably read it. Oh well, if you do, I would just say WTF are you doing?

Measuring The Blogging ROI

An interesting model that is based on the research of Charlene Li. The case for justifying a blog campaign is still being made to companies. Much potential in terms of blogs being useful for SEO, a news outlet, FAQ tool, extranet, testimonials, etc.

A Friend Of Mine Went Crazy Over Moblogging

This shows the low barrier to entry to how simple (and cheap) it is to market oneself in this new day and age of online marketing. I told Adisa about blogging and he went absolutely crazy with it. He's a former contributor to The Source, Vibe, XXL, FHM, 4080, and other magazines as well as writing version two of his popular independently published book "Lyrical Swords". Check his moblogs where he interviews stars or just rants and raves about the latest issues. He now is featured in SFGate.com .
