Paul DePodesta "Management Of New Systems"
Finished reading Money Ball and was amazed by it. I decided to research parallels in the business world and came across an article written by Paul DePodesta who was an assistant to Billy Beane in Money Ball. I thought it acted as an interesting approach to looking beyond the obvious statistics and delving deeper into what metrics really count. It probably would be a good idea for every business owner to pick up a copy of this book. It will serve as inspiration to battle the big boys or simply to optimize ROI. Notice that he says, "I began a SEARCH for real relationships." I wonder if that included going to Google.
